What Are Lash Extensions?
To apply lash extensions, you attach small, individual lash pieces, one at a time, directly to your client’s lashes. The glue you use for this process is medical-grade and long-lasting.
How long does it take?
This process can take up to 2 hours.
What's the difference between a lash lift & lash extension?
In terms of technique and process, a lash lift involves curling and lifting your natural lashes from the root using a specialized solution. In contrast, lash extensions involve attaching synthetic or natural individual lashes to your natural lashes using a semi-permanent adhesive.
A lash lift typically requires minimal maintenance. Once the lift is done, you can enjoy the results without additional daily upkeep. Lash extensions, on the other hand, require more maintenance. You may need to brush and separate the lashes daily to keep them looking neat and prevent tangling.
And how long do they last?
Lash Extension fills or touch-up appointments for lash extensions are typically every 2 to 3 weeks to replace lost extensions and maintain the desired fullness.

How Long Will a Lash Lift Last?
The longevity of a lash lift can vary from person to person. It depends on several factors, such as the person's growth cycle, natural lash health, aftercare practices, and lifestyle. Typically, a lash lift can last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. However, it's important to note that the lift gradually fades over time as new lashes grow and the effect wears off.
Is a lash lift painful?
A lash lift is generally comfortable and painless. However, it's important to note that individual experiences may vary. You may feel a slight sensation during the procedure as the technician applies the lifting solution to your lashes. Some people describe this sensation as a gentle tingling or a mild tightening feeling. However, it should not be painful or uncomfortable.
Can you wear mascara or eye makeup after a lash lift?
After getting a lash lift, it's generally recommended to avoid wearing mascara or eye makeup for the first 24 to 48 hours. This allows the lifted lashes to set and maintain their shape without interference. The lifting and curling process may still be delicate during this initial period, and using mascara or eye makeup can weigh down or disrupt the lifted lashes.
Will a lash lift damage your natural lashes?
One of the common concerns people have about getting a lash lift is whether it will cause damage to their natural lashes. When a skilled and experienced lash technician performs a lash lift, it should not cause any significant damage to your natural lashes. However, it's essential to understand that improper application or poor aftercare can potentially lead to issues.

Immediate Aftercare: The First 24 Hours
The first 24 hours after a lash lift are crucial for allowing the lashes to set into their new lifted position.
What to Do
Keep the lashes dry: For the first 24 hours, avoid contact with water, including washing your face, swimming, or using steam rooms.
Be gentle with your lashes. Avoid rubbing or touching them excessively. The bonds need time to set fully; excessive pressure can disrupt the process.
Sleep on your back: This position minimizes the risk of damaging the lift while you sleep.
Use the recommended aftercare products: If your lash technician has provided you with any specific aftercare products for the first 24 hours, use them as directed.
What Not to Do
Avoid applying eye makeup: The lashes need time to set, and any makeup application can weigh them down or disrupt the lift.
Avoid oil-based products: Oil-based products, such as cleansers, makeup removers, and eye creams, can break down the adhesive.
Avoid excessive heat or steam: Hot showers, saunas, or standing too close to steamy environments during the initial 24-hour period could cause the lashes to lose shape.

How do I keep my brows in shape after brow lamination?
Brow lamination does not permanently set your hairs in your desired, brushed up position. It breaks down the bonds in your hair so that you can easily manipulate them into the look you want. All you’ll need to do is brush them back into place with a spoolie brush in the morning to get them back to that fluffy finish – no product required. These results will last for 6-8 weeks.
To really enhance laminated brows and maintain that freshly laminated look right up to your next appointment, an ultra-strong eyebrow gel is a must have.
What Is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a noninvasive procedure that reshapes and grooms eyebrows, resulting in a fuller and more defined appearance. It is a particularly beneficial treatment for clients with unruly or sparse eyebrows. People often refer to brow lamination as an "eyebrow lift" since it gives eyebrows a lifted and polished look.
How Brow Lamination Works
A solution is applied to your brows. This softens the hairs and makes them more pliable, allowing you to brush and lift the eyebrows into the desired position.
How Long Do the Results Last?
Brow lamination can last 6 to 8 weeks, depending on how fast the hair grows and how well it cares for your eyebrows post-treatment.
-
-Avoid getting the brow area wet for 24-48 hours
-Avoid contact with direct sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for the next 48 hours
-Avoiding excessive rubbing or touching of the treated area for 24 hours
-Avoid using exfoliating (be it AHA, BHA or scrubs) and anti-ageing skincare around the brow area for three days either side of your treatment
-Avoid fake tanning products (including gradual tan) on the face for three days either side of your treatment, as it can discolour the eyebrow tint (unless you’re after khaki coloured brows)
