  • Commission

    This is the best option if you are new to the beauty industry, don’t have a stable clientele, have moved to a new area or don’t want the responsibility of running your own small business. As a commission employee, you have set hours, follow the salon structure, and work on growing your creative skills.

  • Rental/Independent

    This option is for experienced service providers who have a steady and established clientele. As an independent renter, you are your own small business, set your own hours, pricing, and collect your own payment. Blush Salon is your landlord and you pay for your station to run your business.

About Commission

At Blush Salon, we are a hybrid-salon with new and experienced professionals that come together to offer our guests more. We value inclusivity and making our guests feel welcome.

As a commission team member, we offer a supportive structure to help you grow: team meetings, monthly and quarterly check-ins with management, number tracking, and one-on-one guidance when you need it. You’ll always have the tools and mentorship to stay on track — but how you use them is up to you.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the freedom and autonomy to run your business within our business. We don’t micromanage — we expect you to show up with drive, take initiative, and do what needs to be done without waiting for someone to tell you.

If you’re self-motivated, hungry to build your books, and willing to communicate openly and lean in for support when you need it, you’ll thrive here.

However, if you need a tight, step-by-step structure and constant direction to succeed, we’re probably not the best fit. We believe in giving you the freedom to create your own success — and the responsibility to own it.

Rental FAQ

  • Yes! We offer all new rental agreements our step by step start-up guide to getting your business ready to go. We provide everything from business license support, state board of cosmetology, inspections, accountant, and bank advice. You will never be alone. If you need additional support, we are a always happy to help.

  • We know your business needs to suit you, & flexibility matters. Thats why we offer Full time rates, part time, as well as flexible day rates.

  • Nope. You are your own business, and at Blush Salon you will be treated as such. Our building has 24/7 access available by Pin Code. You are free to set your business hour as you see fit.

  • Yes, everyone who enters Blush Salon has access to the salon drinks, snacks, hot towels on backbar and guest check in.

  • YES. We offer flexibility. If you need to squeeze a client in, make-up a sick day or another occurence (not on a regular basis) we offer flexible day rates to add to your schedule without modifying long-term.

  • Rent is paid at the beginning of your work week every monday via venmo. Quick & painless.

  • We provide towels, capes, bowls, brushes, storage, guest amenities, backbar, and wax. You just need to bring your tools and your color. That’s all.

    Your personal products will always be off limits to other service providers.
